Those cars were hot garbage. You’d have to be high as a kite to pay $ 6500 for that.

I remember trying to test drive the Daewoo version back in the day. We were comparing it against a Hyundai Excel. Both were brand new. Needless to say we bought the Excel.

True. But. They were new cars for just ten grand at the time. At the same time, a similarly sized Toyota Corolla was sixteen grand. Same uninspiring drive and with similar features. And yet the Hyundai could be had in purple.
All of this was in Australian dollars mind you.
